Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend von der hohen Bedeutung des industriellen Sektors für die deutsche Wirtschaft werden zentrale Herausforderungen an eine Industriepolitik genannt: die Sicherung des Fachkräftebedarfs, die effektive Verbindung industrieller Produktion und industrienaher Dienstleistungen, die Digitalisierung und Vernetzung (Industrie 4.0) und die Verabschiedung globaler Handelsabkommen. Die Rolle des Staates wird vor allem in der Sicherung von Rahmenbedingungen oder in konjunkturellen Maßnahmen gesehen, steuernde Eingriffe werden skeptisch betrachtet. Von daher geht es im Bündnis für Industrie um die Industrie als Ganzes, nicht um einzelne Branchen.
Abstract
Based on the importance of the industrial sector for the German economy, central challenges to industrial policy are referred to: securing the supply of skilled labour, the effective combination of output and industry-related services, digitalization and networking (Industry 4.0), and the adoption of global standards in trade agreements. The role of the state is seen, above all, in securing framework conditions or economic measures and any controlling interventions are regarded sceptically. Accordingly the Alliance for Industry addresses industry as a whole and not individual sectors. (*Federation of German Employers’ Associations in the Metal and Electrical Engineering Industries)
